As part of the Global Nutanix Professional Services Organization, our team plays a critical role in helping customers plan, simplify, and optimize their technology environment to achieve superior business outcomes. We are dedicated to creating undeniable business value for our customers by guiding their cloud transformation journey and providing operational excellence. 
 
Your Role 
  • Establish strong partnership with the field sales team and external partner ecosystem (e.g., System Integrators and OEM partners) to review customers’ needs, identify and develop services opportunities. Focus will be on creating large services opportunities that will help facilitate customers’ adoption and expansion.
  • Actively participate and speak in external forums and customer events to generate new pipeline for services.
  • Foster good rapport with the C-suite from our customers’ organization to actively educate and influence them on the value proposition Nutanix Services team can bring to them.
  • Originate and close service sales opportunities, by working closely with Field Sales and SE teams on the preparation of detailed proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Services delivery teams to ensure right resources are identified for deployment.
  • Contribute to the development and best practice sharing (on existing services deal structuring or processes) across the Services Sales team in Japan and other regions within APJ.
 
What You Will Bring 
  • Experience working with Systems Integrator (SI) and/or Professional Services within global software companies.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills. 
  • Incumbents with access and relationship with C-suite network.
  • Track record in selling to Enterprise and/or large public sector customers.
  • Experience in structuring Services opportunities and selling complex services engagements.
  • Strong team player, with ability to easily build rapport and collaborate with cross functional teams.
  • Capacity to understand and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Understanding of Services and Solution Sales processes and tools. Incumbents with Services delivery experience would be prioritized.
  • Native level of spoken and written Japanese is mandatory. Conversational English skills required.
  • Technology experience in infrastructure, virtualization, cloud technologies and deployment of Artificial Intelligence solutions.
  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems is preferred.

  • About Your Manager: Craig Lindsey is the Asia Pacific and Japan leader for Sales Services, based out of Australia. He is a seasoned manager with over 20 years of selling experience in technology services.
